Your Shop Logo
This is your shop brand and you need to get your brand logo ready. You should prepare your brand logo in JPEG/PNG image format.
Your Shop Basic Information
Have following shop information ready as we need them to be setup for your shop.
- Shop Name - this is your shop full name
- Business contact email, contact no and address
- The country your shop is operated in
- The timezone your shop is operated in
- Your preferred language, accepted currency and weight unit
Your Shop Address in Internet
You need a shop address (url) in Internet so that your customers can reach your shop online. All shops in Shopbay.org will have use the same shopbay.org domain but you are allowed to assign a subdomain to your shop. For example, if you call your shop "myfirstshop", your shop address in Internet will become "myfirstshop.shopbay.org".
Note
It is also possible to set your shop address according to your shop domain. For example, if you own an domain for your shop, say "myshopdmain.com", you can set this to your shop address in Shopbay.org. However, this will require additional steps to make it work, we will cover it in other tutorials.
Shop Products To Sell
You need to start prepare and organize the stuff that you want to sell online. Important product information are Product Category, Product Name, Product Price and Product Images. We will cover product setup in other tutorials.
How Do Customers Pay Purchase Orders
You need to decide how do your customers pay their purchase orders. Either by online payment methods such as Paypal, credit cards, or offline payment method e.g. bank transfer, cash on delivery etc.
How Do You Ship Your Products
You also need to decide how do you want to ship your products when your customers place orders, and how do you want to charge the shipping fees.
